I became fascinated with birds at an early age, sparking my passion for art as I drew images from my bird books. Embracing my colour blindness, I have developed a detailed and realistic style, with an expressive and creative use of my medium. I use the movement of watercolours to paint birds and, with an eye for the finer details, use my knowledge of birds to capture their specific characteristics within each study.
